Women, as we refer to them, are the mothers of nations, and they serve the most important role in society. If there are no women in the world, life is meaningless. But did you know that pregnancy used to have a negative impact on women? Their importance in childbirth cannot be overstated; the process and agony they endured are beyond comprehension. Unlike in other places where pregnancy is solely dealt with by the woman, pregnancy in Mesoamerica involves the entire family to the point where the process of pregnancy and childbirth revolves not only around medical procedures but also religious and spiritual beliefs. That's why, in today's video, I'll show you what it's like to be pregnant in Mesoamerica.
