In recent months, the news media have been running frequent articles about the nations of the European Union considering or having already commenced the largest rearmament effort since World War II. Across the Atlantic, the once proud and feared Canadian armed forces, however, are presently in a sorry state. In part, they are short of manpower and equipment, but even more so, they are suffering from very low morale and internal issues that, if not corrected, will result in a brutal and harsh military defeat.
