Infinite Text | What Makes a Book "Rare" and "Valuable" @InfiniteText | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
In this video I compress 4 years of education on #Rarebooks in one single video using examples I’ve come across over the years. What makes a book rare or valuable? Please note I’m talking to you as a friend and out of memory mostly. Some corrections: The Gutenberg Bible for instance may not be THE MOST expensive but "among" the most expensive. Also, the Strawberry Hill Press was around late 1700s and into the Victorian period but Morris is THE Victorian guy.
