Myrmidons and Spartan Secrets: Ancient Military Strategy🛡️

The Myrmidon in the myths of Ovid and Homer are myth the earliest example of military strategy were the Spartans who fought like the Myrmidons with such strength endurance and a hive mindset protecting each other that they went down in history as indomitable. They were famous for the phalanx a group of soldiers that fought so closely together a shield in their left hand a hoplite in their right which is a long spear with which they fought that they became a wall of force that was unstoppable. They in fact provided the pattern of battle strategy to the Romans who were even more famous for it later on.
