Are Funko Pops Worse Than LEGO?

Legos and Funko Pops. Two toy monoliths that occupy the same corner of the market as they do space in my head. They’re both brands that heavily rely on stripping other companies' characters and IP down to minimalist plastic display pieces for adults.

Despite their similarities, I’ve also always had a deep hatred for Funkos…but not Lego. Funko Pops seemed like a lazy cash grab trying to sell plastic waste by playing on nostalgia and Legos were fun, cool, even creative.

So I did some soul searching.. And since I need an outlet to talk about my thoughts, I’m going to tell you why Lego is far superior to Funko Pops by going through all the ways they even remotely resemble each other. In list form!
