In Through the Magic Door (1907), Doyle gives readers a guided tour of his personal library, revealing the authors he admired, the shelves he organized by theme, and the literary heroes who shaped him. In this video, I break down what kind of reader Doyle really was - not the public myth, but the man behind the study door.
