dear reader,
march was wild but we survived. when i started the month with a social media detox, i never would've guessed the world would take its own form of detox (despite reading the news and knowing the updates of covid-19 in the months prior).
i created this diary as an answer to my friends who ask what i'm doing or how i've been, and also to myself who ask the same questions. i have a tendency to look on the brighter side (hey type 7s!!), but i think it’s necessary during times like this. and i'm learning to acknowledge that it's not such a bad thing to be positive.
while we isolate and distance as a way to save our physical selves, i hope you aren't forgetting to take care of your mental self. step away from things when you need; recoup; and know this too shall pass – be it the good and the bad. and with that, we have another month, another week, another day.
xx
