Previously a translator (EN/FR/CA-DE), Felicitas Andermann [feˈliːt͡sitas ˈʔandɐman] is PhD student studying theoretical linguistics at Leipzig univeristy.

Her research interests include the mechanisms and predictions of different morphological theories, verbal inflection (esp. person agreement and person hierarchy effects), myopia/opacity in morphology, and (Strict) Cyclicity across grammatical modules.

While she has studied several languages, she has recently been focusing on Potawatomi (Algonquian, North America).

Today, she shares some of the research she’s doing in her PhD program with us.
