Welcome to this interview training video where I’ll teach you how to answer the tough question: “What is your biggest weakness?”, especially if you’re a fresher, just out of college/university, or you have little to no work experience.

Recruiters are looking for self-awareness, willingness to improve, and long-term potential. They’re not trying to trip you up. Choosing a weakness that’s realistic but not critical to the role, and then showing how you’re dealing with it, makes you stand out.

Use my simple ACE formula:
A = Acknowledge a genuine weakness
C = Confirm what you’re doing to improve it
E = Explain how it will benefit the employer
03:07 Safe weaknesses list (for freshers / no experience)
- Nervous speaking up in groups / Public speaking
- Lack of workplace experience
- Needing more confidence when starting new tasks
- Time-management with multiple new tasks
- Unfamiliar with specific tools or software
All of these are realistic, non-threatening to your role, and easy to pair with an improvement plan.
