The Clifton Park Soccer Club holds walking soccer games on Monday nights at Clifton Common. The sport, a variant of soccer which bans running, heading the ball and non-incidental contact between players, was developed in England in the early 2010s as an avenue for older players or players with mobility issues to continue playing soccer. The Clifton Park club started holding games in 2025. The games are usually played with four or five players per side on a smaller field with smaller nets, and without goalkeepers.
