What is up with Eli Vance? Do you notice it? Can you see it? What is happening with Eli Vance's eyes ? Is he a cyborg? Did the combine do something to him?
Both Alyx Vance and her father Eli Vance may have joined the combine and while they try to mask it and present Gordon Freeman with a friendly face, clearly, they're showing signs of their true inner selfs as everyone can see within their eyes! This could be the plot twist that was to be revealed in half life 3. Is this the ending that you wanted ?
I am playing the half life 2 remaster when I encountered this.
In all honesty, I think there is something going on graphically but no idea what the details are. I am playing the recently remastered version of half life 2 which supports high resolution screen displays (awesome!).
