How is the pathless path different from the progressive path and the direct path?
Rupert says that on the progressive path, the mantra takes you indirectly to your being. On the direct path a thought such as ‘Who am I?’ or ‘I am’ takes you directly to your being. But in the pathless path, you start with being.
That's where all paths lead in the end. We don't need a mantra to get there. We don't need a question such as ‘Am I aware?’ to take us to our being. When we start with being there's nowhere to go. We're already at the place we want to be.
That's why here we tend not to embark on a progressive path or even the direct path. We start with being and we stay there.
