What’s the difference between VR, AR, MR and XR?!?
Virtual reality (VR): Headset goes on, real world disappears. You're somewhere else now. Fully immersed.
Augmented reality (AR): You can still see the real world, you're just adding stuff on top. Like Snapchat filters and Pokémon GO.
Mixed reality (MR): Similar to AR, you can still see the real world. But the digital stuff actually interacts with it. Virtual objects land on real surfaces.
Extended reality (XR): This is the catch-all term. VR, AR, MR all fall under XR.
