Let's visit the International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago, IL. I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting this fascinating museum of medicine and science. It's a very interesting place and one of the most comprehensive in the field. This is north America's only museum devoted to surgery.

The International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago is a museum run by the International College of Surgeons. It is a museum with a plethora of medical records, artifacts, medical equipment, skeletons, specimens, sculptures, artwork and information about western medicine and eastern medicine.
International Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago is home to a library of medical records which holds over 1000 rare medical texts, making it one of the most preserved collections of medical texts in North America.
Although the museum mainly focuses on the surgical sciences, it does briefly cover other divisions of medicine. The International Museum of Surgical Science is a fun museum to visit and is family friendly if you don't mind the artworks that contain the human body. It's a fascinating visit and a must stop for anyone visiting Chicago and looking for things to do in Chicago.
