Working alongside our compatibility and production groups, our engineers at the Crucial Performance Lab are tasked with monitoring the latest compatibility and performance trends. Often before new products and operating systems are released, our team has dissected them in order to offer cutting-edge information at launch. Our team performs hundreds of behind-the-scenes tests each year and because of our close working relationship with computer manufacturers, we get early access to the latest chipsets and motherboards as they’re developed, and we work closely with manufacturers to ensure that our products are compatible with upcoming systems.
In the Crucial Performance Lab, our technicians also perform the same benchmark tests that are available to the general public, such as Mem Test and PCMark Vantage, which ensures that the specs we advertise accurately reflect real-world use.
