The debate seems to never end here in British Columbia, Canada... "Which fuel is better for performance? Chevron 94 or Shell 91?" I decided to take this a step further and test 6 different fuels that performance enthusiasts use in BC. Every fuel we tested had a minimum of 3 pulls on the dyno. We carefully measured and logged the temperatures as well as the ECU adapting to the new fuel we had put in the tank. Here is a list of the fuels that I tested:

Chevron 94 mixed with 17% Ethanol
Petro Canada 94 Ultra
Chevron 92 (from Washington State)
Chevron 94
Shell 91
Esso 91
