Nintendo have released so many 2D Mario games over the years. From Super Mario Bros. released 40 years ago and New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, to New Super Mario Bros. Wii, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and then other games like Super Mario Maker, Mario Party, and so many more.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is doing very well, even though there is no 2D Mario game, there is Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, with Kirby and Pokemon games on the way.
