This is an attempt to summarise the different elements, styles, themes, eras and many authors in science fiction.
It's obviously a task that is inherently flawed but hopefully anyone new to the genre or struggling to figure out if they like it, will see how varied it is and how much is out there to enjoy.

That's the purpose behind this video.

I have omitted some of my favourite authors, purely by accident in the flow of the video, and included a few that I haven't read, for context and out of respect for their significance. There will be books or authors I could have mentioned. Bare that in mind as you watch it.
