Transcript:

PD stands for Pupil Distance. What that is, is the measurement between your eyes, from pupil to pupil. We use that measurement to center your lenses into the frames that you've chosen, so that you can see properly.

There are two kinds of PD. We have binocular PD, which is the total distance between your eyes, and monocular PD measures from the bridge of your nose to your right eye and the bridge of your nose to your left eye. That's used for the multi focal lenses.

You can go to our website, framesdirect.com and type in "PD" into the search bar. It will give you all the simple instructions on how to take a picture and send it to us, and with our facial recognition software, we can measure the distance between your eyes.
