What is perfect posture, and how can you get it? If you’ve ever said you’d like to have better posture, or if you know what good posture looks like but you just don’t know how to get your body to stay there, today’s episode is for you.

What exactly is perfect posture, anyway? Most descriptions of good posture revolve around a static ideal, meaning a snapshot in time. In other words, if we took a picture of you, would your posture measure up? But you’re not a building; you’re a living, breathing animal who is capable of moving through your environment, and your posture needs to support that.

Good posture usually looks like shoulders back, chest up and a strong, tight stomach. While this isn’t wrong, per se, there’s way more to it than that. Your body needs to be able to support upright posture while still remaining resilient enough to absorb shock and movement.
