I know, I know…
The grass always seems greener on the other side…
If you have curly hair you want straight hair…
If you have a low voice you want a high voice…
I can totally relate to that! I have a low voice and always want to belt and sing really high.
But I had to work SO hard for that!
Now the great news is that anyone can learn to do anything - so I was able to learn how to get my voice up to these really high notes.
But I will always feel more comfortable in my lower range, because that’s where my voice naturally sits.
Once I learned to appreciate my voice for what it is naturally, singing got so much more enjoyable and fun.
Plus the feedback I got from everyone around me also got better!
Long story short…
Before you work on all the things you can’d do (yet), focus on what you’re good at naturally first.
Once you have that foundation start expanding your voice and skill set, without losing your natural voice.
This will make sure that you like the sound of your own voice, feel comfortable when you sing and also pick songs that are right for you!
If you can’t tell, I’m really passionate about this stuff 🙈
I was literally chasing something my voice wasn’t for more than 10 years and once I stopped doing that, that’s when I finally saw success with my singing.
If you need help figuring out what your natural voice is and how to navigate that, we’d love to help!

I can’t wait to sing with you soon!

![Why Your Voice Feels Stuck And How To Instantly Free It
Does your voice feel stuck in your throat when you sing? Are you dealing with throat tension, jaw tension, or tongue tension that makes singing feel way harder than it should?
In this video, I’ll show you how to release tension when singing so your voice can feel free, open, and effortless.
**This is the first lesson in my 3-part mini voice lesson series where I walk you through the most common issues singers face — and how to fix them. Check below for the links to the other videos of this series.
Whether your voice feels tight, youre getting tired while singing, or your tone just isn’t as full and resonant as youd like… chances are, tension is the culprit. You’ll learn simple tools to release tension from your jaw, neck, and tongue so that singing finally feels easier and more sustainable.
🎧 Plus: I’ll show you a real-life example of a professional singer who was able to open up her tone in minutes by addressing hidden tension in her voice.
