Hey, bookworms and bookmarks! It's halfway through the year, so it's time to decide what my best book of 2023 has been so far! Unlike in previous years, choosing between my top 2 reads - Whale & Lapvona, was a difficult decision. And so I broke them down into 10 elements (including characterisation, concept, plot, prose, pacing, structure & originality) and chose a winner for each aspect to try and find my overall winner for the first half of 2023 in an analytical way!
