For the last 12 years I have been using THIS little tool to distress, blend and colour my papers… and honestly, it still works just as beautifully today as when I first discovered it 😄
Believe it or not, it’s actually a simple nail buffer cube!

The material is firm, porous and slightly sponge-like, which makes it perfect for picking up ink from the ink pad and softly transferring it onto paper. It doesn’t soak up too much ink and gives lovely smooth blending results — very similar to many branded distressing tools.
Over the years I tested many different craft tools, but I always keep coming back to this one little cube. It became one of my favourite affordable crafting discoveries and a permanent part of my creative desk.
