If you haven't already heard the news from the 14th July 2021, Vegas Movie Studio Platinum has reached "End of Life" and is now retired and cancelled. Magix Germany has replaced the Vegas Movie Studio product category with their own German built video editing program and called it Movie Studio 18. It has nothing to do with Vegas Movie Studio and is not an upgrade for Vegas Movie Studio 17, Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum or Vegas Movie Studio 17 Suite. In this video I show and explain what this different software looks like. Then in the second half, I share the most common public reactions from the Vegas Movie Studio Community, about Magix trying to fool us all. Hopefully someone in a position of power at Magix Germany, will start listening to the Vegas community and begin repairing their reputation before it is too late and they lose ALL Vegas Movie Studio customers forever.
