The largest Earth science funding agencies in the United Kingdom and the United States are working together in the International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration (ITGC) to investigate one of the most unstable glaciers in Antarctica.

ITGC’s Science Coordination Office (SCO) is based at the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) and the Earth Science Observing Center (ESOC), both part of Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at CU Boulder.
