The geosciences (or Earth and space sciences) are a collection of many different branches of science that study the planet Earth. These sciences work to understand the interactions between Earth systems – geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, biosphere, and exosphere - from planetary to microscopic scales. This video was made in through collaboration between IRIS and North Carolina State University.
