What is faith? In today's Bible study, Wes McAdams and Travis Pauley discuss four related questions from one of our listeners:
1. What is the definition of faith?
2. What is the relationship between faith and obedience, or are these two sides of the same coin?
3. How would you respond to the idea that believers can never fall away, or if they do fall away they were never really believers in the first place? This seems to me to negate free will and contradict the entire narrative of scripture. If a former believer persists in disobedience are they not demonstrating unbelief?
4. Based upon a biblical understanding of faith, how can believers have assurance?
