I'm (finally!) back with a new video explaining what is electro swing, a (sub-)genre that combines the influence of vintage (or modern) swing and jazz mixed with house, hip hop, and EDM.

Tell Me Are You Tired (Leon Chancler, Tom Coster) is a song of the album Amigos, the seventh studio album by Santana released in 1976. The images you see within the word Home (in the lyrics animations) is the artwork of this cover album. The vocalist Greg Walker sang this song. I chose this song to remix because it had the right lyrics for the message I wanted to convey in this moment #StayAtHome!
The video features some real footage of Tedros Adhanom, the current Director of WHO, during his conferences about Covid-19 in March 2020.

What Will Santa Claus Say is a song of 1936 by Louis Leo Prima, an American singer, actor, songwriter, bandleader, and trumpeter. While rooted in New Orleans jazz, swing music, and jump blues, Prima touched on various genres throughout his career: he formed a seven-piece New Orleans-style jazz band in the late 1920s, fronted a swing combo in the 1930s and a big band group in the 1940s, helped to popularize jump blues in the late 1940s and early to mid 1950s, and performed frequently as a Vegas lounge act beginning in the 1950s.
The video features the cartoon The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives, a Christmas-themed Merrie Melodies animated short film, originally released on January 7, 1933. It makes use of a Great Depression setting of Christmas where Santa Claus is seeking shelter. The short takes place at a shantytown; hence the name The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives.
