Difference in Java and JavaScript

Purpose

Java is like that Swiss army knife of programming languages, perfect for building all sorts of fancy applications whether it's on a JVM or a web browser. Meanwhile, JavaScript is all about jazzing up web pages, making them interactive and dynamic. It's like the secret sauce for adding that extra oomph to the user experience.

Type System:

Java is a statically typed language, which means that the variable data type has to be declared before use. In contrast, JavaScript is dynamically typed, offering flexibility but potentially resulting in runtime errors.

Compilation

Java is a compiled language, where code is written and compile into bytecode for the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) to execute, while JavaScript is an interpreted language.

Object-Oriented Programming:

Java is a fully object-oriented language with features like classes, inheritance, and encapsulation, promoting code structure and reusability, while JavaScript is a more object-based language with some limitations.
