X-Force #24 continues the long slow burn of Benjamin Percy’s X-Force, the mutant CIA of the Krakoan nation, providing some crucial new details about the plans of Mikhail Rasputin and Piotr Rasputin, aka Colossus.

About half of X-Force #24 follows up on wee Black Tom Cassady Ant-Manning his way through Beast’s innards (shouts to the Neal Adams drawn Avengers #93 during the Kree Skrull War!) in order to root out the self-replicating invasive Russian nesting dolls Beast kept around Krakoa like a big furry idiot.
The other half of the issue deals with Colossus and his girlfriend Kayla on the Krakoan farms of the Savage Land. The two seem happy and destined for a steamy bath together, at least until Kayla discovers Piotr has been painting scenes of Krakoan secrets and plans to distribute them to the outside world.
