What is #cnnblackmail? WTF is going on? CNN tracked down a reddit user after Donald Trump posted a meme / GIF to Twitter and ALLEGEDLY Black Mailed them into an apology. Seriously.
The Cable News Network, more commonly known as CNN, used to be known as one of the biggest and most credible news sources around. Their name has been the gold standard when it comes to Network News for decades. Well, if you ask me they are starting to lose that credibility. It is a well known fact that President Donald Trump doesn't like or trust Most mainstream news sources, referring to them as fake news. Some people agree and some think his statements are idiotic....well guys, there is no confusion with this situation. After Donald Trump tweeted a joke which mocked CNN, they went out and tracked down the reddit user who created the meme. A guy who had nothing to do with Trump's tweet other than posting it to reddit. ALLEGEDLY CNN blackmailed the individual into an apology or they would release his personal information, which violates some laws. Keep in mind the individual literally did nothing wrong other than exercise his freedom of speech in a way many found to be humorous. WTF is going on when we live in a world where an established network like CNN does this?
