What is a Hot Wire EPS CNC Foam Cutter? It is basically a flat table with two arms and a wire. The arms hold a wire that becomes hot when you run electricity through it, and allows the wire to melt/cut the foam that is placed on the table. Some CNC cutting tables are manual, and some are automatic. The automatic tables run from a CAD program, and does whatever the CAD designer programs into the computer. This allows for a more accurate cut and allows accurate reproductions to be made without much hassle. There are large, medium and small CNC cutting tables. They use round wires and flat. There are good ones and there are bad.
