The Boeing-built X-37B continues to set the pace of innovation. During its seventh mission, the Orbital Test Vehicle is performing a series of advanced aerobraking maneuvers, taking the autonomous space plane from a highly elliptical orbit (HEO) and lowering its altitude using minimal fuel.

This is the first time our teams, the United States Space Force (USSF), and the X-37B have carried out this novel demonstration.
