The Mario Day news has arrived as expected. A Super Mario Galaxy movie Nintendo Direct with a new trailer revealing some new characters and also a new trailer for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book with a May release date. Some things have been noticed though, that are leading some to think that 3D Mario will now also not be in the cards for Nintendo Switch 2 this holiday of 2026. I disagree, but what if there really is no 3D Mario? What would Nintendo have in store?
