Finally, I can say this without a spoiler warning, Shadow WILL be in the Sonic Movie 3! That Sonic Movie 2 post-credit scene was awesome! However, I can honestly tell you that I don't expect his character to be fully fleshed out by the end, and it shouldn't be. Shadow is one of the most complicated characters in the franchise, so it will likely take a bit for him to grow and become the character we know and love.
