Lost and confused will we find the way forward onto the next boss?
What if Mojang decided one day to create Dark Souls in an adventure style Minecraft map? Well it would probably looking something like The Way of Kings. This is a souls like Minecraft Adventure Map that sees you taking on difficult enemies, upgrading your character, finding shortcuts, fighting bosses and exploring a vast map full of secrets and shortcuts.

Map Description:
The Way of Kings is a map inspired by Elden Ring and the Dark Souls franchise. It must be played in 1.19.4, and it does not require any mod. It has been created for single player only.
You will have to explore a huge, interconnected kingdom, traverse dangerous areas and fight your way through hordes of enemies and challenging bosses. As a Pretender, your duty is to face the old rulers of this world in order to gain enough power to kill the Great King Magnus and take his throne. This quest will see you ascend to the kingdom's highest peak, and descend to its darkest corners.
This map features :
- 15 interconnected areas, with different moods, mechanics and sets of enemies
- around 50 types of enemies, some of them with custom sets of attacks and abilities
- 13 bosses with a vast array of abilities, some of them having two phases... or more
- a complete upgrade and levelling system for your character, your weapons and your health potion
- a lot of weapons, talismans and spells that fit various playstyles and strategies
- a completely reworked health and stamina system modelled after Dark Souls' endurance management
- a bonfire system that allows you to level up and update your spawnpoint
- a selection of some of the best soundtracks taken from the Souls franchise
- a collection of NPCs ad merchants linked to side quests and achievements
- a clever world and level design that make you search a maze-like kingdom from top to bottom
- a secret ending requiring you to solve the land's most obscure secret and to fight its most terrifying enemies...
And much more ! I have tried to recreate most of the Souls franchise mechanics in this map, from the combat to the bosses, without forgetting the upgrade and level up systems. It is quite difficult too, as you will have to traverse maze-like levels filled with dangerous enemies, and fight ruthless bosses
