This is Mario & Luigi Final Cause, a fangame created in Scratch! Scratch is a website that makes coding more accessible by giving you building blocks with different functions rather than a traditional game where you'd have to write out all the code manually. Prior to Mario & Luigi Brothership for Nintendo Switch, the Mario & Luigi series was on a long hiatus due to Alphadream going bankrupt. This fangame by RushThePenguin was one of many efforts to bring the series back. But how well does it hold up?
Mario & Luigi Final Cause uses music and sprites from many past games, including Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story, Mario & Luigi Dream Team, and Mario & Luigi Paper Jam. There are also enemies and characters which never appeared in the official games such as Boshi from Super Mario RPG!

New Super Mario Bros. 3DS is a mod for New Super Mario Bros. 2 created by @brewnick. Theres a lot of super creative levels here and I really enjoyed the mod overall. Some baffling design choices kept me from finishing the full game, but I still recommend giving it a shot if you like more experiemental level design like youd find in Super Mario Maker.
You may have seen mods like Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii, Cloudy Super Mario Bros. U 2, Marios Final Adventure, or Super Mario Bros. Next in the past! Similar to those, this is a 2D Mario hack that adds a bunch of new levels!

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the first 3D platformer in the Kirby series. In 2025, DLC for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game called Star-Crossed World was released. There have been lots of Kirby games in the past such as Planet Robobot, Star Allies, Extra Epic Yarn, and Triple Deluxe. But this is the first one that Im giving the light of day. Is it as good as everyone says? Lets find out!
