11 ABY, in the midst of Operation Shadowhand...
In the midst of the vile Operation: Shadowhand devised by the Empire's new sinister leader on Byss, New Republic agents Kyle Katarn and the former smuggler Mara Jade have taken to helping a small task force in the Outer Rim to fight back against the imperial counter attack! In a series of events that would lead to the former's corruption at the hands of dark forces rising on the planet Dromund Kaas, Mara would rescue Katarn from the clutches of evil. However... someone or something has clung to their vessel...
