Plot: After 35 years in Chicago, Donal (Alan Cumming) reluctantly returns to
the Scottish Highlands to reconcile with his estranged older brother Sandy (Brian Cox), who needs him to take over the family's whisky distillery or be forced to sell. Their reunion compels both brothers to confront the violence and grief that shattered their family on the day of their mother's funeral — and reckon with whether the wounds of the past can ever truly heal.
Glenrothan will be released in cinemas on 17th April 2026.
