In this video, I lay out what I believe Messianic Judaism truly is. In the first century, faith in Yeshua was not a new religion, it was a sect of Judaism made up of Pharisees, priests, and Jews from every background who confessed Him as Messiah. Paul didn’t erase Judaism or create Christianity; he proclaimed that Jew and Gentile alike become equal covenant members within that same family. Not ethno-specific, but covenant-specific.
Has the modern church drifted from its Jewish roots? Did Paul intend to separate Gentiles from Judaism—or bring them into covenant life? We explore the early movement, the shift after Nicaea, and why following Yeshua is, at its core, a form of Judaism centered on Messiah.
