Going on vacation after having weight loss surgery can be scary and intimidating. We can be so tempted by unhealthy foods when we're constantly eating out so it's easy to get off track. My family and I recently went on a mini vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee, IL. We had a blast and I was able to stick to my eating plan while eating out at various restaurants. Having my gastric sleeve has given me so much I want to take care of it and treat my body right 100% of the time!
And after I got home I found out I lost nearly a pound while we were gone!

Hi, I'm Lindsey, a SAHM from the south suburbs of Chicago. After years of yo-yo dieting I'd finally had enough and wanted a more permanent solution to help me live a healthier life.
So on June 17, 2019 I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) weight loss surgery done at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.
