These two Roman swords were found by metal detectorist Glenn Manning in the Cotswolds in 2023.

The site near Willersey in Gloucestershire dates from the Iron Age to the Roman period and includes possible evidence of a Roman villa.

Working with Cotswold Archaeology who co-led the dig, we funded the excavation following the discovery of the swords. They are now on display at Corinium Museum in Cirencester.
