This. Game. RULES! They made the action absolutely incredible for this upcoming Onimusha entry. I'm always skeptical of anything going the souls-like route but I think Capcom is nailing a good mix with Onimusha Way of the Sword.
Capcom has given the player plenty of options to deal with numerous problems. There are parries, blocks, dodges, and the iconic Issen attack for those hardcore players. I had to shake some rust off but I started getting the hang of the new mechanics halfway through the demo. Issen still feel extremely satisfying to pull off alongside perfect parries and dodges.
Onimusha Way of the Sword also got a release date! September 24 of this year. Capcom has released so many bangers this year and I'm looking forward to this. I have yet to finish PRAGMATA but I know I'll be spending extra time with this one.
