You and Koraidon/Miraidon will meet the real professors from the past. Their conversation implies that Paradox Pokemon came from parallel timelines, and they ask you to trade them Briar's Book for the Scarlet/Violet Book. After the interaction ends, you are booted to a different menu screen. While this was not shown in the video, you can talk to Arven in his dorm where he'll reveal the different dialogue about the book's location.
