Star Trek Voyager's Endgame episodes showed us a glimpse into a potential 2404 Starfleet where they had continued to develop anti-Borg weaponry like the Transphasic Torpedo and Deployable Ablative Armour. These inventions seem to have been pushed aside as we move closer into that potential timeline, but why?
