Universal Kids Resort is finally opening in Frisco, Texas, and reactions have been all over the place. Some visitors believe it's a fun new destination for young families, while others have compared it to one of the biggest theme park disappointments ever. So what is really going on?
Universal Kids Resort features themed lands based on some of Universal's most recognizable franchises, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Shrek, Puss in Boots, Jurassic World, Minions, Trolls, and Gabby's Dollhouse. Designed specifically for families with young children, the park combines family rides, interactive play areas, character meet and greets, themed dining, and colorful attractions inspired by these popular characters and worlds.
