With the help of Atlas Lens Co, I mounted this 70-year-old relic onto my Sony FX3 to see if its legendary organic flares and anamorphic character still outperform modern optics. In this deep dive, I explore the technical challenges of dual-focusing and how to grade these historic images in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
