The Delta Flyer was the brainchild of Tom Paris, B'elanna Torres, Tuvok, Kim and Seven. Created on the USS Voyager in the Delta Quadrant, the vessel was to offload some of the ship's responsibilities and operate in a hardier capacity than standard starfleet shuttlecraft. The Flyer was among the fastest and toughest small craft seen, and much of this was down to numerous enhancements to withstand hazards, and Borg technology. Let's take a look at its origin, stats and eventual fate.
