The Future Flash, Savitar - What is his backstory ? Future Flash VS Savitar ? My theory is our Future Barry won his battle against Savitar and trapped him in the speed force for the very first time.
Which means our Barry will eventually fight Savitar whether flashpoint exist or not.

Then, Savitar search every timeline looking for something like Flashpoint. He finally saw hope from our Barry and Begun his plan on The Flash Season 3.
