Something very strange flew past the NamibiaCam live camera during the early hours of the morning—and we still cannot confidently identify it.
For only a split second, a bright, fast-moving object appeared above the waterhole before disappearing into the darkness. Was it a paper or reflection very close to the infrared camera? Or something far more mysterious?
My first thought is that it was probably a small creature passing close to the lens, with the camera’s infrared light making it appear much brighter and larger than it really was. But take a close look and decide for yourself.
